What happens when an alarm triggers
Black Screen Monitoring from our own BS 5979 CAT 2 Alarm Receiving Centre – nothing is watched until something happens, then everything happens fast.
Detection
Movement or heat within a detector or camera range sends an alarm activation straight to our control room.
Audio challenge
Genuine events get a live audio announcement and 100dB siren direct to site to deter the intruder.
Police called
If audio fails to deter and criminal intent is shown, police are called and a response officer is dispatched.
Response attends
Our response team always attends – whether intruders leave or not and carries out a full site check.
Report next day
The site contact is always sent a full incident report the following day, with images and a response log.
Beyond alarms, we run integrity checks on cameras, audio, detection and recording throughout every shift plus daily transmission and remote service checks, mains-fail monitoring, and regular control-room patrols of live systems. A dedicated site WhatsApp group keeps your team notified instantly when a full report isn’t needed.
